Homework 4: *** Select a different classmate to do a code review. After your assignment is approved, go to the Etudes homework link and select the "Submit as Web Page" radio button. Upload the following to your homework space on your server space.

Work in your hw site (your practice homework site) and add modify at least 3 of the pages to include the following elements. Reformat the content to accommodate the additional image objects... (see Cormia's COIN74 HW 3)

Modified additions from Homework 4

2 rollover images - meaning you'll use 4 images for 2 different rollovers
an image map with at least obvious 3 hotspots that link to named anchors on pages other than the page where the image map resides - make the hotspots intuitive to the user and have them make sense! - think Usability!!!
an image navbar located in the same place in all your pages for consistency of navigation - the navbar should link to pages within your site and not use null links. omit the last state, only use 3 states.
modify the page properties and change the color of the background of one page
modify the page properties and add a background image to one page
change the font color on the page with a background color...select a color that is easily read against the background color you select for that specific page (this may affect the look of the navbar but don't worry about that for this assignment)
page titles on all your files - no files should have 'untitled document' in the page title even if the file is a frame contained within a frameset
select a new buddy classmate to do a code review to check your uploaded homework on their computers BEFORE you submit the URL to me - no broken links and no broken image icons please ...(section omitted)

Lesson 4 Challenge: - you will need to download a free version of fireworks if you don't already have it on your machine.

Create a new folder called album in the Site Files pane of the Site Window. Insert about 10-20 .gif and/or .jpg images in the folder. You can create your own images or get sample images from corbis, tonystone, photodisc sites or other image sources on the web.

Create a Photo Album using Dreamweaver's Commands Menu = Commands>Create Web Photo Album.

Select the folder called album as your destination folder.

After the album is created:

go to the site window and rename the index.html page within the album folder to album.html
include a link to the album.html page from the zzz.html
include a link from the album.html page back to the zzz.html page.
Have your buddies do a code review by checking all your images and links within the album folder as well as the link to the zzz.html and from the zzz.html.
Check the forward, back and home links within the album pages.
When your buddies sign off your work, submit the URL of the zzz.html page to the ETUDES Assignment Link by selecting the SUBMIT AS WEB PAGE Radio Button.
