Description of ProcessUsing a photograph I re-touched for Assignment #3, I created an adjustment layer. Then I tinted it using the Hue and Saturation command to change the overall coloration. Next, I created layer masks for 3 different colorizations: green for the socks, yellow for the hair, and rose for the wall.I adjusted the hue, saturation, and opacity for each of the 3 colors. Finally, I merged the layers down, decreased the size of the image file, and saved it in jpg format for posting on the Web. Which are my favorite tools? Why?I love the paint bucket! Once I had made the selections, and created "quick" masks, then I could just pour the colors on.After that, it was an easy process to tone the colors down. |
