I've been struggling with iMovie - it's not as easy as I thought! Besides, the Mavericks update hides some things (I think!) that used to be more accessible. I have seen YouTube videos and read the Missing Manual, but there's very little written/shown for the latest version. So - things aren't where I expect them to be! For instance - the Animatics feature is gone. I think I saw it (in an Apple ad) hidden in the Trailers section. And the Advanced Tools are invisible. As I understand it, many tools are not revealed "until you need it", but that isn't working so well for me. One question - how do you copy a clip and a transition from one event (video?) into another? I also find the layout more clunky than I expected. Maybe that's my punishment for only getting a 13-inch screen

The best part is the explanations and images of the different parts of the computer. Also, part 3 has a great video. And, the whole thing is downloadable as a PDF.

I got a surprise today when I checked in to "my" YouTube channel. Three of the videos I had made previously were identified as having copyright disputes. All three were made with my Flip Camera, and the music I added had been offered "free" in their FlipShare software. OOPS. So, I asked YouTube to remove the music. I wonder what will happen - will they make a mess of the video? Or can they cleanly remove the music, and leave my audio alone...
