So here we are - at the (almost) final step of the process and concerned with editing your visual message.

After this: You just have the final step of uploading your short to YouTube or Vimeo (settings will be provided next week or earlier) and to add description and metadata to the video.
FINAL VIDEO PROJECT REQUIRED ELEMENTS:
Due: 12/8/13 by 11:55PM
Points: 55 pts (pre-production shot list and storyboard = 20 pts)
1. 90-120 seconds long (1-1/2 to 2min) and not longer. You'll lose 10 points if over required length.
2. Your video should contain carefully edited images and sounds

4. There must be at least 3 video clips in the project. The video must be more than a simple export of
your slideshow.

5. Soundtrack – must be carefully mixed and use at least two tracks for part of the project.
6. You must include titles at the beginning and credits at the end.
7. You must make use of a minimum of 2 transitions from with the editing software (simple cross-dissolves or fades suggested)
8. Title should read as follows 119_Final Project_your first and last name
(as in 119_Final Project_JaneDoe)
9. You must post in on YouTube or Vimeo (and you can choose whether to make it public or not) and post the link to it in the Forum or email it directly to me if you choose not to make it public)
Grading Rubric:
Correct File Name = 5 points
3 video clips edited together = 15 points (5 each)
Still image or images = 5 points
Soundtrack min 2 tracks = 10 points
Titles beginning and end = 10 points
Cross-dissolve/Fade Transitions = 5 points
Post on YT or Vimeo = 5 points
