This is the first forum and you are required to participate in them each week (for points!). Sometimes I'll post a question or an idea for you all to discuss and sometimes it will be to read something and then answer a question publicly to the entire class so that discussion may ensue.
For your first forum posting, please introduce yourself in at least three sentences and share with us what is a favorite online video/vodcast and why. (Ideally, this is something that was produced online by a single person or small team).
Also, Read your classmates' postings and respond to at least 1 - ideally 2 posts.
(This is mandatory and will net you 2 extra points!)

Hi class! My name is Danielle. I am studying Cinema while I work part-time as a travel copywriter for a magazine. When not working or studying, I like to make short films/videos of funny life situations and post them on YouTube.
A popular video podcast or vodcast on YouTube is V-Sauce, a science video blog. It's inspirational and quite dramatic! Check it out:

How To...
Compose and post your response:
- Click on the Add a new discussion topic button below and compose and post/submit your message.
- Click on the SUBJECT of their post (not their name)
- Click on the "Reply" link at the bottom right of his/her post.
How to create a link (that will work):
1. Copy your link
2. Write the text you want to turn into a link
3. Select it
4. Click on the link button from the toolbar (to the right of the anchor icon)
5. Paste the link in and add a description.
6. (Optional) To make the link open a new window (helpful most times) keeping Insight open, choose "New Window" from the drop down menu that reads "target".
How to not freak out at Insight:
Warning: If you generally need longer than 5 minutes to compose your response, it is best practice to compose your response in Notepad or TextEdit (or some other text editor) and then copy and paste it into your response here. Why? If you are inactive for longer than 5 minutes (on average) your browser may time you out (and you'll lose your work). THAT is very frustrating. It's happened to me and I couldn't believe that everything I had typed was completely lost. How to not freak out at Insight:
