On Saturday, June21st we began Part 1 of Drive 2014, heading from San Francico CA to Houston TX.
- Saturday June 21, we drove (blog post) from San Francisco over the Pacheco Pass and down I-5 and I-40 to Kingman AZ. Along the way we crossed the edge of the Mohave and Colorado Deserts (blog post).
- Sunday June 22, we drove I-40 and occassionally Route 66 (blog post) to Santa Fe NM to visit for two days. We ended up staying 3 - and bought a new car! (blog post).
- Tuesday June 24, we drove to Wichita Falls TX. (#photos).
- Wednesday June 25, we drove (#photos) to Sulphur Springs TX to visit Martha's cousin Carolyn and husband Tom. Cousin Steve drove down from Tonganoxie KS, and together we celebrated his 66th birthday on June 27. (#photos).
- Monday June 30, we drove to Ennis TX to visit Dianne's sister Juli. (#photos).
- Thursday July 3rd, we drove Houston TX to visit Dianne's brother David and his partner Steven (#photos).

On Thursday, August 14th, we headed from TX to MN, for Part 2 of our Drive 2014.
- Thursday August 14, we drove (#photos) to Minneapolis MN for a 2-week visit. In particular, we came at this time for Martha's 50th high school reuion, and to attend Martha's nephew Joseph's wedding. (#photos).
- Friday August 15,Martha went to Roseville MN to attend Martha's 50th reunion of Alexander Ramsey high school. (photos soon).
- Saturday August 16, Martha and Dianne attended the formal Ramsey reunion at the Midland Hills Country Club.
