Four Friends Travel Together
On May 11, 2008, four of us signed up with Grand European Tours to take their April 17-May 1 tour of Spain, Morocco, and Portugal. This 15-day tour is designed to give us an overall introduction to the Iberian Peninsula "separated from the rest of Europe by the Pyrenees. Comprising Spain and Portugal, it is washed on the N and W by the Atlantic Ocean and on the S and E by the Mediterranean Sea; the Strait of Gibraltar separates it from Africa."
Who We Are Four of us are traveling together. Sisters Jan and Judy from St. Paul, and partners Dianne and Martha from San Francisco are eager to travel together, and test our friendship. If it works, we may travel together again! If it doesn't - well, that's impossible. No matter what, we will ENJOY ourselves and each other - and Spain, Morocco, and Portugal too! |
Where We Come From We are middle Americans, from Minnesota, Kansas, and Texas too. We've traveled in the US, and abroad, but never together. Nevertheless, we are eager to do so as we approach our golden years. Retirement is meant to be enjoyed, and maturity begs to be enlivened. That's what we intend to do! |
