Task 1 - Read the Quick Start information

Read the required information. Registered in the FORUMS - but not with the correct format (Firstname_Lastname)! Others have been confused by my name, so I wonder if I should change the format?

Task 2 - Class Introductions - posted in FORUMS

Hi, I'm Martha, a retired letter carrier living in SF. I love traveling, photography, blogs, and webs. I've taken classes at City College and online at Foothill: HTML, FrontPage, Photoshop, and Images for the Web. I'm looking forward to learning and using Dreamweaver because I find the upkeep of webs is so tedious, and anything to help the process will be appreciated!

I use XP on a Dell, and Win2000 on a Sony laptop. I've got Dreamweaver 3, so yesterday I downloaded the 30-day trial copy of v.8. Hope I can figure out how to pay for it! My dream would be to upgrade to the Adobe Web package, buy a new Apple laptop, and get a digital SLR (any suggestions?). Meanwhile... My browser is IE6; screen size is 1024x768; connection is Earthlink DSL - and my camera is an Optio 550 (5 megs).

I downloaded the free 30-day trial version Macromedia on 9/24/06.

Task 5 - Install any required plugins (QuickTime and Flash Player)

Already installed.
