Day 2 - Arrival in London
This morning we arrived at Gatwick Airport, west of London. We spent about an hour there going through customs and finding our Globus guides. Then we took a bus ride to our hotel (did we have lunch? I can't remember!). In the afternoon, Joyce, Bill, Dianne and I headed for Westminster via the London Tube, a subway system that goes EVERYWHERE. It was fairly easy to navigate, and we had the fun of finding our own way. It set the proper tone of "adventure" that gave the rest of the trip a warm attraction.
