Day 5 - Volendam

This was a magical place, if ever there is one. We took a bus to Voldendam, and saw along the way a cheese shop, a wooden shoe sho,p and a windmill. You couldn't ask for more! But there WAS more - a delightful town, an interesting video about the re-claiming of the sea, and a delicious meal. Plus, we had the adventure on the way back of getting lost! Roads were closed, and the German tour guide and Italian bus driver tried to figure out the Dutch road signs, with much back-and-forthness. Too bad none of us had a Google map! Well, take a look at what we saw, and you'll see what I mean - one couldn't ask for more!
