Today's our big day - we're finally leaving for our trip to Europe! Dianne and I had driven across country from San Francisco to meet her sister Joyce and husband Bill. We did all our last-minute shopping; got more money from the bank; and bid adieu to all the ones who stayed behind.
At XXXXX pm we headed for the airport. The husband of Joyce and Bill's daughter Emily drove us, and what a sight we were! We said goodbye to the comforts of home, and headed for our adventure.
